Emery W. LeBlanc, 72, of Belliveau Village, died Thursday on arrival at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital.

Born at Pré-d'en-Haut, he was a son of the late Willie and Mélina (Belliveau) LeBlanc. He had retired from the Department of Public Works a number of years ago. He was a member of the Pré-d'en-Haut and Memramcook Golden Age clubs.

He is survived by his wife, the former Jeannita Cormier; three daughters, Mrs. Emile Bourgeois (Pauline) and Mrs. Pius LeBlanc (Francine), both of Cormier's Cove, and Mrs. Normand Maillet (Simonne) of Belliveau Village; two sons, Aurèle of Moncton and Dollard LeBlanc of Belliveau Village; a sister, Mrs. Arcade Melanson (Corinne) of Dieppe; a brother, Alfred LeBlanc of Villa Providence, Shediac; 13 grandchildren, and by four great-grandchildren.

The body is at Dupuis' Funeral Home, Memramcook. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Sunday from the Our Lady of the Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
